We Offer a Comprehensive List Of Services For Cars, and Light Trucks, Including:

We provide Safety inspections for passenger cars, light-duty trucks, motorcycles and trailers that require that the following items be checked: suspension components, steering, braking systems, tires and wheels, lighting and electrical systems, glazing (glass), mirrors, windshield washer, defroster, wipers, fuel systems, the speedometer, the odometer, the exhaust systems, horns and warning devices, the body, and chassis.

Our technician does a visual inspection of the vehicle’s relevant emissions components. Once the technician is satisfied that everything is in place, the vehicle’s gas cap is tested to ensure that it is airtight. Finally, a computerized emissions tester is plugged into the vehicle which runs a full set of On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) tests. If everything is functioning as it should, the emissions tester will report no errors and the vehicle has passed the Emissions Test. If anything is malfunctioning, the emissions tester will deliver an error code which is used to identify what repairs are needed. These computerized emissions testers are regulated by the PA Department of Transportation and are quality tested for accuracy twice a year

From drum brakes to disc brakes, calipers and rotors, to shoes and pads, our highly trained technicians know your brake system and can perform brake inspections and brake pad replacements on almost every make and model. This includes models equipped with ABS, otherwise known as an Anti-Lock Braking System. So you can drive with confidence.

Does your vehicle suspension bounce when driving down the road? Dip and bottom out when going over bumps? Do you fight your vehicle to drive in a straight line? If so, it’s time to visit Harbison Auto Service! We offer steering and suspension services to help straighten and smooth out your vehicle’s ride.

Whether your vehicle needs conventional, high mileage, synthetic blend or full synthetic oil, at Harbinson’s our Oil Change Service is comprehensive preventive maintenance to check, change, inspect, flush, fill and clean essential systems and components of your vehicle.

A vehicle without AC can be a sweaty and uncomfortable ride. A properly working AC keeps you and everyone else in the vehicle comfortable and cool all the way to your destination. Our Technicians can assess interior climate control issues and are highly trained in A/C evacuation and recharge.

Our Check Engine Light Code Retrieval Service provides you with quick and accurate answers from our professional technicians. When the check engine light turns on, a fault code or OBD II code, detailing the nature of the issue is registered in your vehicle’s diagnostic system computer. This fault code is stored and can only be retrieved with specialized equipment that can communicate with your vehicle’s diagnostic system computer. We use that equipment to pull the code from your computer, analyze the findings and provide you with a game plan to get your car back on the road.
